Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings (not Bank Holidays) during Hampshire term times.  We meet at Yateley School from 7 to 8.30

Da Capo Winds is a friendly training band for both adults and children.  Standards vary from relative beginners up to grads 8 and above.  The whole aim of the band is to meet regularly and enjoy improving our musical standards.  To this end each rehearsal starts with a session of musicianship training exercises (Kodaly based) that are designed to improve the musical skills of each and every individual member as well as improving the band as a whole.

Membership is open to anyone that plays a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument and is interested in improving their musical skills. There is also a role for string bass or bass guitar players and scope for any trained musician who would be interested in learning to play percussion (instruments provided).

We are keen to encourage new members so if you think this might be the band for you please contact us.  

Concerts take place three times a year at the end of each term.  There is a special concert for an audience of young children (and those young at heart) in December.
